Injured at work? Osteopathy is an approved treatment under WorkCover Queensland, and Scott regularly treats people on WorkCover claims. The focus is on reducing pain, restoring function and getting you back to work safely.
How to get started
See your doctor. Get a Work Capacity Certificate from your GP or treating doctor. You need it to lodge a claim, and it lets us start treatment.
Lodge your claim with WorkCover Queensland, or with your employer's insurer if they're self-insured.
Book in online or call 0401 267 294. Bring your Work Capacity Certificate or referral, and your claim number if you have one.
Costs
Accepted claims: we bill WorkCover directly, so there's no gap and nothing to pay on the day. Your first five consultations are pre-approved. If you need more, Scott sends a management plan to your insurer for approval.
Claim not yet accepted? You don't have to wait to start treatment. Until your claim is accepted, consultations are charged at our regular private rates (initial $150, return $135). Once your claim is approved, you can usually be reimbursed for those visits, and from then on we bill WorkCover directly.
NSW workers' compensation: we can occasionally treat NSW claims, but only with prior approval from the NSW insurer for your case. Please call us before booking.
